In November of 2006 we traveled to Armidale, Australia. Armidale is located in New South Wales, several hours to the north of Sydney and several hours from the coast. The town is a lovely community of about 20,000 -- though it seems smaller. The area is primarily agricultural. We did make a short trip to the coast, but there was plenty to see in the local area. Armidale is also home of the University of New England and our gracious host for the visit was Dr. Elaine Barclay. |
